Operational Finance Manager for growing business in Leeds

Your new role
This is a highly operational, business facing role requiring some travel within the region. The role will involve building strong relationships with the directors and management team of the business units to support commercial and operational decision making including: producing performance reports and commentary, appraising investments and changes to procedures, track and review results of investments to assess value for money, set targets for operational and financial improvement and monitor against these targets, identify and track risks & opportunities vs plan, lead, direct and support the team, help develop the financial awareness of the management teams and assist with the development of the current reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be educated to degree standard holding a full professional accounting qualification with experience of supporting, challenging & influencing at a senior level in a fast paced environment. You will be numerate and very analytical with strong commercial acumen. An understanding of budgetary control, financial reporting and p&l accounts is essential. You will be able to demonstrate experience of working with operational non-finance managers.
