Financial Controller

Financial Controller required to start at short notice for a highly successful and forward-thinking business about to undergo an IPO or Trade sell sale within the manufacturing/technology sector based on the Hertfordshire / North London Borders.

Whilst reporting to the Financial Director the Financial Controller will pay an active role in the preparation of information relating to the trade sale of the business or IPO and in the long term oversee and develop the financial controls and drive the business through commercial insight and financial planning.

Your remit will be to assist with the trade sale by providing presentable information around sales results, trending, forecasting and projections whilst overseeing the finance function to ensure robust financial controls and processes allow for future growth.

Key accountabilities include: Management of the finance team, Budgeting and forecasting, investment appraisal, trade review along with relevant commentary, overseeing financial and management accounting, developing systems and processes and playing an active role in the senior management team to drive the future of the business.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a technically strong ACA or ACCA qualified accountant making a first move from practice and currently operating at the Senior or Management level within the corporate services or business advisory arm. Exposure to clients within the product or technology sectors would give a distinct advantage. Ideally you will be able to start at short notice.
