Description
provide analysis and insight the businesses largest operational cost, payroll
use financial information available on store payroll costs, including to analyse the performance against our operating model expectations
identify opportunities to improve our payroll processes and reduce costs
work closely with the operating model and the central payroll teams to make sure we're being as efficient as possible and make recommendations for improvement
influence and build relationships up to senior management level
be involved in shaping the future operating model, working closely with the retail transformation programmes on any initiatives that will impact how we serve customers in our stores
Profile
an accountancy qualification
experience working in a fast paced, dynamic environment
excellent relationship and engagement skills, able to challenge and influence a variety of partners across all levels of the business
advanced Excel skills, able to analyse data, provide insight and build financial models
experience working in retail, although this isn't essential
