Audit Data Analyst London (the City)  

You have an opportunity to join one of the world's leading property and casualty insurance company as an Audit Data Analyst.

As a Data Analyst within the Internal Audit Department, you will deliver analytics to support the Audit Plan and develop the data analytics knowledge of the audit teams across the business regions of Europe, Eurasia & Africa.  


Key Responsibilities: 

• Formulate data-driven audit approaches to support the Planning, Fieldwork and Reporting stages of each audit on the Plan.
• Identify and obtain the required data, undertake the agreed analysis and discuss results with both the audit team and auditees.
• Work with Audit teams to understand key risks identified within the Audit Entity and propose recommendations for the use of data and analytics to facilitate the Audit process
• Help train auditors to use self-service tools in order to deepen their knowledge of the data available within company
• Actively promote the use of data and analytics within the Audit process

Desired Skills and Experience: 

• Strong IT, Data Analytics and reporting skills (e.g. advanced Excel, SQL, SAS, Tableau, PowerBI etc.)
• Experience of working in an Audit function is preferred but not essential, in a role with an emphasis on data analytics, or within a BI function with knowledge of Audit processes or willingness to learn
• Good knowledge of insurance company processes and systems.
• Naturally inquisitive and logical mind able to delve into complex data or business problems to understand the root causes of issues
• Good communication skills with the capability to build and maintain strong business relationships at varying levels of seniority
• Able to multi-task and take responsibility for own work and deadlines
