Summary
There is an immediate requirement for an Interim Finance Director to join the team. Based in Central London, the role will hold three main responsibilities:
- The day to day running of the company’s finance function
- The integration of the finance systems and procedures of a new acquisition
- Recovery of the implementation of a new ERP system (Deltek Vision)
Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Responsible for checking and approving an accurate production of monthly management accounts, including P&L, cashflow and balance sheet.
- Support the Financial Controller and supporting staff to ensure that they are clear on their delivery of requirements to the company.
- Maintain their motivation and engagement.
- Supporting the Managing Director within the business providing input and execution of key business initiatives, with two immediate areas of interest:
- the financial integration of a new acquisition
- recovering the implementation of a new ERP solution (Deltek Vision)
- Overseeing forecasting and annual budget processes
- Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting Complying with statutory and legal requirements: external audit, tax, VAT and other regulatory filings Build productive relationships with all colleagues
Person Profile:
- Qualified Accountant with experience of heading up Finance Teams and managing financial reporting; with previous FD experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate clearly both internally and externally
- Strong organisational skills, with experience of managing multiple deadlines
- Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
- Excellent team player, who consistently displays empathy and a positive attitude
- Proactive, with a quick understanding of the business model
- Proven track record and fast learner
- Commercially astute and highly numerate
- IT literate with strong Excel skills and accounting systems knowledge
- Knowledge and expertise in implementation of new ERP systems (Deltek Vision preferable)
- Previous experience of post-acquisition integration of finance/accounting systems and procedures.
