Accounts Assistant

A world-renowned media company is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team in London. Offered on a full-time, permanent basis, this Accounts Assistant role offers a salary of up to £29,000 per annum.

Responsibilities of your new role

Joining a busy and growing accounts team, you will be responsible for assisting with a wide range of finance and accounts functions. Specific duties of the Accounts Assistant will include:

• Supporting the senior financial manager with all areas of finance
• Preparation of monthly journals including expenses, debtors, bad debt, FX, bought stock and intercompany and balance sheet reconciliation
• Preparation of sales variances at month end, investigating releases driving variances
• Population of sales figures for the forecast model
• Ownership and preparation of MCPS and excess storage recharges to bill on to 3rd parties
• Prepare ad hoc analysis of trend updates

Candidate profile

To be considered for this Finance Assistant role your application will need to demonstrate:

• 1-2 years in a similar Finance role
• Actively studying towards ACCA or CIMA
• Highly analytical with strong excel skills

Salary

The successful Accounts Assistant will be offered £26,000 - £29,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
