Management Accountant

Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. A well known retail organisation based throughout the region are looking for a management accountant to join their Cambridge office.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller you will be joining an organisation who has a rich history and strong presence in the area. You will be part of a fast paced environment which offers opportunities to progress and make an impact within your remit.

The role will be part of the central finance function allowing you to liaise with the wider group as you ensure all financial information is accurately reconciled with key information available at short notice. You will produce full sets of management accounts including relevant forecasts aligned with company expectations and deadlines, review current processes and improve where applicable. Due to the nature of the role ad-hoc tasks will appear from reviewing client data and financial performance allowing greater insight into the groups financial status and highlighting any inefficiencies.

The successful applicant will hold and accounting qualification although qualified by experience individuals will also be considered. You will have the ability to communicate with the wider group, organise schedules ensuring high levels of detail and compliance is maintained while helping support the business as branch and group level.

Salary £45,000
