Assistant Management Accountant

A global media production and entertainment business based in the heart of London is currently seeking an Assistant Financial Accountant to join their fast pace team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting for the UK entities, managing the monthly cash positions, running monthly bank valuations, bank reconciliations, posting of journals, assisting the General Ledger team in preparation of documents required for monthly and quarterly reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring efficiency of process and pro-actively identifying opportunities for process improvement and commercial enhancement.

This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who has gained a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a finance related role, ideally assisting with month end duties with strong knowledge of debits and credits. You will have excellent academics, a pro-active thinker and be able to use your initials. This will be best suited to candidates with strong Excel skills and previous use of SAP would be beneficial. Ideally you will be studying towards/ part qualified ACCA or CIMA or equivalent.
