This is a great opportunity to become part of the next stage of their journey. As an experienced Management Accountant, ideally Qualified you will be responsible for ensuring the solutions you deliver enable the best customer profitability, performance and trend outcomes.
You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:
Preparation of management accounts for review by UK Finance including analysis of cost of sales, margins and stock valuations.
Review trends on key accounts and share best practice
Understand product and customer profitability
Preparation of journals
Support Financial Controller and the Finance Manager in preparation of budgets and forecasts for Group Submission
Collection of data and calculation of monthly cost reduction summary and templates and chair meetings
Collection of data and calculation of weekly KPI’s
Preparation of data for monthly Operations Review pack
Assist Site Finance Managers in the preparation of regional / site review pack for discussion by the executive team
Support internal and external audits as required (including SOX)
Various other reporting and analysis assignments as required
Provide support to the team and assist with ad-hoc accounting duties as required
Key requirements preferred:
Qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA with excellent analytical and communications skills. A completer/finisher that can plan, manage and prioritise your work effectively. You will have excellent attention to detail, good interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. A proactive and driven candidate and a great team player attitude.
At least 2-4 years plus experience preferably manufacturing environment using costing systems and metrics reporting and a strong commercial awareness. Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
