THE COMPANY:
Brewster Partners are recruiting an experienced, qualified General Ledger Accountant for a manufacturing business in Sheffield. Close to the motorway and public transport links they are commutable from Chesterfield, Rotherham, Doncaster and Worksop.
THE JOB:
Reporting to the Finance Manager duties will include:
Processing month end including, but not limited to:
Posting journals
Maintaining the fixed asset register
Key account reconciliations
Bad debt provisions
Group reporting of trial balance
Balance sheet reconciliations
Group banking facility analysis and reporting
Monthly and quarterly control checklists
General banking and cash management
Other ad hoc duties as required
THE PERSON:
The successful candidate will be qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
Strong IT skills are essential
Must be able to take responsibility/ownership
You will thrive in an environment driven by tight deadlines / schedules
You will be a team player
