A successful accountancy firm with a unique offering based in Macclesfield are currently seeking an intuitive qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) to join their team as a Client Manager. The firm work closely with entrepreneurial businesses using the their accountancy knowledge and commercial acumen to provide strategic business advice. This is a great opportunity for a general practitioner to develop their commercial skills and work closely with a portfolio of clients.

Your new job
As a Client Manager you will take responsibility for a handful of clients for which you will provide an outsourced Financial Controller role providing compliance, outsourcing and tax planning advice. You will partner with your clients gaining involvement in strategic decisions and helping them achieve their business and growth goals. The firm will consider full time hours or part time hours of four days.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking a qualified chartered accountant (ACA / ACCA) who has trained within accountancy firms and is either still working within general practice or is now working in industry. You must be able to demonstrate good working knowledge or both personal and corporate tax however they will help you develop your advisory skills in this area.

You will partner closely with your clients and from time to time you must be willing to challenge views and demonstrate an assertive nature at times.
