Finance manager
£55,000
This position is managing the Finance function for the repairs and Maintenance company for a large housing association.
The successful candidate will most likely have experience of working within the Repairs and maintenance department for a housing association or service providing company.
Responsibilities
- Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
- Supervise and manage the commercial team, including Part Qualified Accountant and financial Assistant
- Collaborate with corporate finance to ensure proper compliance with all financial regulations
- Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports, as well as liaise with colleagues, FBP, corporate finance and other functions within the Housing Association.
- Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities
- Assist Directors in drafting Board report for the senior executives, stakeholders, and board members
- Controlling and forecasting the income and expenditure
- Support the business planning & operations process through regular meeting with Heads of Service and Director of Operations on the financial performance and update on Operational performance
Previous Housing Association experience would be very beneficial.
