Finance Business Partner

Great new opportunity for a Newly Qualified Accountant who is looking to move in to a commercial & operational Finance position within a global Asset Manager.

Reporting into the Manager of the Finance Business Partnering team, you’ll take on responsibility for all monthly Financial Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting activity as well as performance reporting, KPI Reporting and ad-hoc, flash reporting.

The ideal role for ACA looking to move in to their first Analyst position.

Key duties:

• Acting as the key interface between group finance and the UK business for all financial / commercial / analytical responsibilities; consolidating the Europe financials
• Monthly analysis & business performance, identifying improvements and variances
• Review and analysis of P & L and KPIs
• Partner with key stakeholders to ensure performance meets set targets and forecasts
• Advise Europe management and budget holders on specific financial issues and work to provide solutions
• Monthly Finance Board Pack production
• Weekly EBIT reporting - consolidating and identifying key trends and issues
• 3 Year Plan - managing and co-ordinating process for Europe
• Capital expenditure reporting
• Detailed Review (and challenging) all new business cases, investment proposals & pricing models
• Key Customer performance reporting & analysis
• Project support - assisting as required

Key Attributes:

• Newly Qualified ACA
• Have a proven ability to communicate clearly with both finance and non finance staff
• Have strong Excel and systems skills
• Ambition to develop a commercial finance career
• Dedication to hard work
• Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding environment
