JOB TITLE: UK Finance Manager

REPORTS TO: UK FC/Assistant FD

LOCATION: Coventry Head Office

SALARY : Up to £50k plus benefits

Role :

Our high profile service sector client are actively recruiting a Finance Manager to join the finance team based in the Group Head Office in Coventry. The role will have full responsibility for the transactional teams, supporting the UK Financial Controller with delivery of month end and year end duties as well as assisting the CFO with board packs.

Key to this role is managing working capital with a specific remit to understand and maximising cash flow management working with Treasury teams across the Group.

Assistance with timely production of monthly management information, reports & consolidations of UK results.

Development of financial models, to monitor and analyse variances between forecast and actuals providing insightful commentary into differences

Continuous improvement of systems and processes to maximise efficiency gain across all areas of responsibility

The Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger & Credit function all report to the UK Finance Manager, there are 2 direct reports and 10 indirect reports within the team. Lead in daily supervision, delivery and training of these teams.

Performance Management, production of monthly KPI's and enhance the process going forward

You :

Qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years PQE, ideally in a service based business

Experienced in producing and reviewing monthly management accounts

Experienced in delivering year end audit information, creating and reviewing stat accounts

Experience of forecasting (specifically cash) and budgeting, working with all areas of finance

Experience of producing and monitoring KPIs

Proven ability and sound understanding of accounting principles

Ability to detail and present information succinctly to Board level

Proven ability to lead teams

Excellent IT skills including advanced excel
