Howarth Morris are looking to recruit an experienced Financial Accountant on a 12m FTC with rapidly expanding business based in impressive offices in Liverpool City Centre. This is a key appointment for the business and a great opportunity for an individual who is looking to add value. Please note this is an initial 12 month contract. Reporting to the FD, duties will include, but not be limited to:-
The role would suit an experienced and proven finance professional, ideally from a housing/property/construction background, with strong financial accounting and analysis skills but who is not afraid to roll their sleeves up, and assist with the team when needed.

- Production of group and subsidiary financial statements and to provide all supporting schedulers required to assist internal and external audit.
- Implementation and review of systems for providing financial reporting to all departments as appropriate and within agreed time scales.
- Co-ordinate the delivery of balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Provide comprehensive sound financial information and advice to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintenance of sound financial systems to protect the Group and its resources and to administer appropriate financial controls.
- Production of regular performance management reports collating and preparing relevant data and prepare ad hoc financial and performance reports
- Contribute to the maintenance and development of sound financial systems and processes in order to protect the Group and its resources
