Broster Buchanan for currently recruiting for an Accountant with in a fast paced FMCG business based in Peterborough, this role requires a commercially aware and technical accountant that is happy to work independently. You will be supporting commercial activities, become a key decision maker as well as controlling transactional finance.
Job Responsibilities: Preparation of financial reports to group requirements; to include, daily, weekly sales reports and month end reports.Full reconciliation of all day to day financial activities, delivery notes, invoices, purchase orders, company bank accounts and all other financial recordsControlling the sales and purchase ledgers through accurate recording and book-keeping.Setting up and submitting payment runs for suppliers, employees and government bodiesPreparing financial reports to management and group requirementsTo own sales and margin data, including forecasting and budgeting.To support the commercial activities and decision making of the business.Period end - Profit and Loss, Balance sheet, (including reconciliation)Sales and Margin TrackingCash ReportingOwnership of sales and margin data including the production of comprehensive forecasts and reconciliationProduction of analytical reports, including management accounts, KPI's and both financial and non-financial dataSupport senior management team commercially, facilitating effective decision making through accurate reporting and modelling.
