Bids & Pricing Finance Manager

As a market leader within the Real Estate Services sector, this international group has enjoyed a significant uplift in revenue and fee profits growth, which in tandem with a strong business pipeline and resilient real estate fundamentals has created a new opportunity for a qualified accountant to undertake a Bids & Pricing Finance Manager/Commercial Bids & Finance Lead role and support a key business division. This new high-profile hands-on role, offers you a blank canvass focusing on value creation, delivering commercial oversight on key contracts, driving a clear financial upside, improving margins & performance and avoiding scope creep across a portfolio of key contracts. Reporting to the FD and working with the MD and SMT a broad and varied brief includes:

•Deliver value creation in key contracts, challenging the commercial status quo & improving overall operational & strategic business performance
•Commercial responsibility in partnership with Contract Executives & Portfolio Leads on core contracts & ensuring all income streams have agreed contracts & appropriate financial terms
•Lead the development of client contract P&L reporting with reviews & analysis to drive commercial profit-improvement opportunities on core contracts
•Business partnering with Contract Leads & Executives to identify commercial profit-improvement targets
•Implementing: - commercial financial processes, review, reporting & analysis improvements to minimise scope creep with a focus on key portfolio accounts
•Ownership & development of Pricing Model tool
•Development of commercial solutions & strategies for new products/services, new opportunities & existing contract renewals
•Working closely alongside Contract Executives, SMT & Leads undertaking a customer-facing role where there is a requirement for financial, pricing & contracts agreement support

As a qualified accountant, you will demonstrate a track record of Commercial Bids Finance leadership, contract pricing for complex and/or long-term commercial contracts, alongside commercial SMT business partnering within a multi-service business environment. The opportunity demands evidence of customer-facing negotiation, a self-motivated, proactive approach and the gravitas to build robust relationships across the business community.
