Management Accountant

THE COMPANY:

Brewster Partners are recruiting for a well-established and expanding company who are seeking a career orientated Management Accountant.

THE ROLE

As a Management Accountant you will work as part of a close knit team reporting to the Financial Controller. Your key responsibility is to provide an effective and efficient accounting service for a number of subsidiary companies and this broad ranging role will involve you in both financial and management accounting.

Duties will include;

• Production of monthly management accounts together with analysis
• Assisting with preparation of statutory accounts and liaising with the auditors
• Group reporting
• Assisting with of budgets and forecasts, working closely with operational managers
• Involvement in purchase and sales ledger and VAT
• There is also scope to work on adhoc financial projects with the Financial Controller.

THE PERSON:

• Ideally qualified (CIMA / ACA / ACCA)
• Excellent excel skills
• Comfortable working at pace and demonstrates a high level of accuracy
• Able to demonstrate experience of working under own initiative and taking responsibility for continuously driving improvements, both alone and as part of a wider team
• Demonstrable effective communication skills with finance and non-finance colleagues
