An opportunity has arisen for a senior level Finance Manager to join a rapidly growing retail SME based in central London. This Finance Manager opportunity is offered on a full-time, permanent basis.

Your new employer

The Finance Manager will be joining a high-street retail specialist boasting a strong wholesale business and ecommerce platform. After a sustained period of double-digit growth, the business is keen to expand their existing finance function.

Responsibilities of your new role

The key aim of the Finance Manager will be to bring together the financial control, ensuring they are audit ready every month-end. You will be responsible for delivering the business strategy and playing a key role in upgrading the finance function with specific duties including:

• Managing a team of 4 of varied levels of experience.
• Responsibility for full reporting deliverables – month end reporting, balance sheet, controls, external audit, transactional team (AR/AP), global regional reporting requirements, VAT and statutory tax returns
• Working alongside the commercial finance manager in supporting the CFO with monthly and ad-hoc performance analysis, planning cycles (budget/reforecasts) and long-term strategic plan
• Supporting the Finance Director in ad-hoc commercial / strategic projects and the successful rollout of a new operational ERP system globally
• Overseeing the working capital strategy/cash management

Candidate profile

The successful Senior Finance Manager will be an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant who demonstrates:

• Line management experience (desirable)
• Understands the responsibilities of a Finance Manager
• A track record of success in a similar role
• SAP skills are highly advantageous

Job Offer

The successful Senior Finance Manager will receive:

• A basic salary of £60,000 - £65,000 per annum

There is also likely to be a progression opportunity in roughly 18 months where the remuneration is likely to go up to £75,000 - £80,000 plus bonus & potentially equity.
