Axon Moore have been exclusively engaged by a private equity backed business in Grimsby who are looking to hire a high-calibre Finance Manager into the finance team.
The recent private equity backing should provide a platform for business growth, offering the chosen candidate, fantastic exposure to a growing, highly profitable organisation.
Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for the core accounting duties within the organisation:
• Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts including P&L with variance analysis and commentary, consolidation of separate entities
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Liaising with key stakeholders across the business
• Implementing and ensuring adherence to robust finance policies and procedures in a rapidly growing business
• Day to day managing of a team of 5 within the finance team
• Management of day to day running of nominal, sales and purchase ledgers
• Dealing with foreign currencies
• Review and submit VAT returns
In order to be considered for the role you must:
• Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
• Strong analytical and excel skills
• Experience of managing a team
• Strong communication skills
Salary:
• £40,000 - £45,000
