Group Financial Controller

A listed technology firm based in Sheffield, with a UK turn-over in the region of £75m, is seeking a Group Financial Controller to join their Business on a permanent basis. Reporting in to the Group FD, this position will pay a salary in the region of £75,000 + car, pension and up to 20% bonus.

The Group Financial Controller will be responsible for preparing information on the financial results and direction of the Business, undertaking analysis to help with strategic financial planning. The role would also be involved in business transactions, including due diligence. The position will have responsibility for a Finance team of around 10.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role will include monthly group consolidation and preparation of finance sections of the monthly group board report; group financial analysis; group FP&A; liaising with external lenders; management of group treasury, group and UK strategic tax planning; assistance with acquisitions and other projects.

Required Experience

- Qualified ACA / ACCA (essential); ideally have trained with a recognised Audit firm, and then gained significant post-qualification experience in Group Finance positions in industry.

- Significant prior experience of a Senior level Group Finance position
