My client is a quickly growing retailer based in North Manchester and they require a candidate with all round Accounts and Payroll experience to join their fun and friendly team. You will not only have full control of the company payroll but it is also essential you have experience of the transactional side of accounts. Your duties will include:
Payroll:
- All starters and leavers, payroll queries, time and attendance, P45's, P60's, P11d's, SSP, SMP, preparation of monthly BACS payments, HMRC and PAYE issues, statutory reporting and pensions
Accounts:
- Assist in the production of monthly, quarterly and year end management accounts, Purchase and Sales Ledger, bank reconciliations, completion of VAT returns, processing staff expenses, preparation of accruals, credit control and payment schedules
You will have at least three years experience in both payroll and accounts, be an excellent communicator and take a proactive approach toward improving your knowledge. You will be a self starter who is methodical in all tasks undertaken. A good knowledge of Excel will be highly beneficial and prioritisation of workload a must. This is an urgent fill position for my client as they are working to strict timescales. Candidates who are immediately available or on a short notice period will be looked upon favourably.
