Finance Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our team at our Bolton Head Office. We want someone who will manage effective financial control working in cooperation with others in the Finance team.

About the Finance Manager role

Working with the Head of Reporting, you will provide the monthly financial results with comments on key variances to help budget and forecast and support with related action plans. You will also help to coordinate the integration of acquired agencies in to the divisional reporting structure.

You will act as Business Partner for Senior Managers across fostering guiding them on commercial matter and promoting financial understanding. Providing monthly financial results with comments will enable the finance team to consolidate, manipulate and present data to produce meaningful trends and influence business outcomes.

Leading by example and encouragement of others you will ensure to maintain a positive, professional and helpful ethos in the Finance team. You will be expected to travel to our fostering offices and also our Uxbridge Office as required.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone with a recognised UK accounting qualification and relevant experience and a good knowledge of UK GAAP.  Plus you will also need strong line management skills as this role will oversee a team of 9.

It is essential that you are able to meet tight deadlines, showing good initiative to take ownership of tasks.  You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the group.
