Medium-sized international listed PLC in central London are looking for an Interim Group Financial Controller to support them over the next 9-12 months. Reporting into the Group Finance Director, you will lead a team and will have a leading part to play in the development of the financial management, control and reporting in the Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparation of year and interim financial statements; including glossy annual reports and accounts
- Prepare and analyse PLC level management accounts; and drive development of group-wide reporting and analysis
- Challenge divisional leadership in a constructive manager to identify financial risks and opportunities
- Work with leadership to review current finance structure, with particular focus on people and process, and implement any changes
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Experience of operating as a Group Financial Controller for a publicly listed business
- Ability to lead finance review and improvement projects
- Clear and effective communicator, with ability to influence at all levels
