Potters Resort, a five star holiday resort located on the east coast seeks a Management Accountant
We are looking to grow the team by recruiting a highly motivated Management Accountant to provide financial and accounting support to Potters Resort and its subsidiary companies.
This is a unique career development opportunity and as such we will prioritise training and experience in all financial activities across our businesses to support the successful candidate’s future development. In addition we will support the successful candidate through an appropriate external qualification / study support package.
This is a full time, potentially career defining position, offering a competitive salary.
About You - Key skills and experience:
Essential:
- Minimum of two years’ experience of working within a Finance department
- Ambitious, keen to learn and looking to develop an accounting career
- Knowledge of general accounting procedures and relevant accounting software
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Great attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines with resilience and good humour
Desirable:
- Relevant Accounting qualification newly qualified / Finalist CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
- Knowledge of Pegasus Opera or equivalent accounting system
- Knowledge of Chargbee subscriptions Management
