A leading business with headquarters in Cambridge and a history of significant growth are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their central finance team.

Job description and key responsibilities:

Working closely with the Financial Accountant and other finance divisions within the group you will be joining a business that has doubled in size over the last 18 years and are looking to continue this impressive growth over the next 3 years.

The role will be hands-on assisting the Financial Accountant in monthly reconciliation's including the preparation of monthly and daily consolidated management accounts, financial statements, VAT and forecasting functions including associated taxation.

*Assist with the production of the Group's published Annual Report and Accounts and Interim Report and Accounts in accordance with IFRS within the set timeline
*Preparation of statutory financial statements
*Review, investigate and resolve intercompany variances on a monthly basis.
*Reconciliation of quarterly Group VAT returns and preparation and posting of all Group VAT payments and adjustments
*Preparation of monthly and quarterly Balance Sheet reconciliation's for all GL accounts to which ownership is assigned.
