Your new company
A growing SME in Oxfordshire is looking to further expand its finance team, in the capacity of a qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE Group Accountant to act as a no2. To the Group Finance Director, whilst also manage two members of transactional finance staff.

Your new role
The successful candidate will support the Group FD in the preparation of budgets (zero based and scenario), monthly management information pack, forecasts and statutory reporting all in a timely and accurate manner. Furthermore, you will contribute to the achievement of the company objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy, pricing margin, bid modelling. In additional you will be expected to manage a team of two, overseeing their workload, development, and be able and prepared to stand in on occasion, whilst also driving process improvement in all finance related areas of the business.

What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate you will be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and ideally have gained previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Furthermore, you will need to demonstrate strong staff management skills, ability to communicate at all levels throughout the business, attention to detail and an eye for process improvement. Experience of Exchequer, Javelin and Zero based budgeting would be an advantage.
