Finance Business Partner

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a growing media/publishing firm as a Finance Business Partner.

Must be ACCA/CIMA qualified or at finalist level.

The Role

• Monitor and report on financial performance, including the performance of global brands distinct from local brands with support from the finance manager
• support the finance manager in the budgeting and forecasting cycles and developing the process for long term planning
• Work in close collaboration with the commercial and editorial team
• Support the finance manager in ad-hoc analysis to the commercial and editorial teams or shared functions as and when required, or to the head of finance directly in any other team requirements
• Liaison with outsource partner and financial accounts teams
• Responsible for the balance sheet accounts and coordinate with any other finance team members on shared accounts
• Ensure tight control of costs across the business and be confident to recommend additional cost saving initiatives. Contribute to the on-going development of internal processes to ensure a strong financial control framework is in place
• Support the implementation and monitoring of new financial systems
