Head of Finance

Diverse commercial organisation require local head of finance to led the finance function

Your new company
An established SME with a growing portfolio of products and strong cash flow seek to appoint a hands on Head of Finance to lead the local team and run the day to day activities within a busy accounting function.

Your new role
Reporting to the board you will assume oversight for the full end to end finance function, reporting the financial figures to the SLT on a periodic basis. You will work closely with operations and the production teams to ensure all commercial considerations are taken into account when it comes to product costing and product development. You will ensure the financial ledgers are maintained in a timely and accurate manner, complete VAT, manage all forecasting activities and drive process improvements as the business seeks to refine the delivery of management information.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with a proven track record within manufacturing or engineering sectors. Your CV with demonstrate strong knowledge of stock control and inventory management, cost accounting and core manufacturing accounting principles. Furthermore you will be a hands on accountant comfortable in rolling up your sleeves.

What you'll get in return
Base salary will also be supported by a car allowance, pension and bonus scheme in an autonomous role which you can make your own.
