I am recruiting for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join a well-established and highly reputable service company based in the city centre of Manchester on a full time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this is a pivotal role within the finance function were you will drive business performance within a successful firm. You will enable the department to achieve it's objectives through in depth financial analysis and commercial awareness.

You will lead the annual budgeting and three-year planning process, responsible for producing an integrated and cohesive set of financial outputs that are well explained and owned by the business.

An overview of the duties are:

  • Provide financial and commercial support to Head of FP&A, CFO and CEO.
  • Define and deliver the annual budgeting process, co-ordinating widely across the finance department and all senior stakeholders in order to do so.
  • Develop and refine your financial modelling techniques to ensure that the budget and forecasts are robust and accurate and that alternative scenarios are modelled to suit different strategic assumptions.
  • Produce a monthly forecast for P&L, cashflow and key KPI
  • Create techniques to monitor the capital cash spend
  • Provide insightful analysis on the financial performance of different parts of the Well group, identifying trends and patterns
  • Liaise with the various financial business partners to ensure a consistent narrative and understanding of business performance
  • Identifying and developing relevant financial metrics to permit insight into the business
  • Partnering with the Heads and their team and help shape strategy
  • Support Head of FP&A and CFO on any other ad-hoc strategic projects, opportunities or initiatives
  • Day to day management of direct reports
  • Create, maintain and validate accurate business models for strategic workstreams
  • Partner with senior managers outside of finance to provide solid financial support, relevant challenge and a holistic joined up view for exec decision making
  • Will be required to work on monthly, quarterly annual and 3-year strategic planning horizons.

You will be Qualified in ACCA/CIMA/ACA with 5 years PQE, have extensive experience in a similar role dealing with senior stakeholders and hold advanced financial modelling skills (Excel based) to be considered.
