Interim Director of FP&A

Interim FP&A Director - £750/£900 per day - London - 3 months rolling contract

My client has an immediate requirement for an Interim Director of FP&A to join their team for an initial period of three months. Reporting to the CFO you will be responsible for the overall forecasting, reporting and budgeting for a large (£1BN+) division of a FTSE listed business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading key finance projects and initiatives
• Acting as the mergers, acquisitions and disposals specialist for the Division and being available to support any work undertaken in these areas
• Lead the definition and execution of strategic financial planning process providing in depth modelling and analysis to the senior team
• Lead the central finance team to provide proactive financial support to the whole business.
• Lead monthly, Quarterly and annual reporting processes with focus on key factors impacting the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flow
• Support the CFO in preparation for board meetings
• Recommend and implement improvements in process

Formal Qualifications Required:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Strong academics
• Experience in mergers, acquisitions & disposals essential
• Experience of a similar role within an International blue chip
• Broad knowledge of financial reporting systems
• A self-starter with strong organisational and planning skills
• Ability to manage projects and people
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the presentation and explanation of financial information
