Finance Business Partner

A well-established services business in the City of London is looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner for a full-time, permanent role.

Responsibilities of your new role

The Finance Business Partner will play a prominent role within the organisation in driving business performance, utilising commercially astute financial analysis to create broader understanding and influence effective decision making. Key duties of the role will include:

• Liaising with COOs and providing critical insight to key stakeholders
• Leading budget preparation activity
• Interpreting, communicating and challenging business assumptions
• Providing decision makers with regular performance reviews highlighting risk and opportunities
• Assuming end to end ownership over Group P&Ls
• Delivering strategic, ad hoc analysis geared towards profit maximisation particularly around working capital
• Ensuring financial models and processes are critically reviewed on a regular basis for continuous improvement purposes
• Understanding operational dependencies for delivery on financial performance targets and ensuring these are monitored to mitigate financial risk and deliver financial performance 

Candidate profile

To be considered for this Business Partner role you will be a newly or recently qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant who demonstrates:

• Finance Business Partnering experience from within a large, complex environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Emotional intelligence and the strength to challenge decision making when necessary
• Calmness under pressure
• Collaborative team player
• High level of Excel proficiency
