Due to continued business growth and sales channel development, the group is currently recruiting for a qualified accountant to undertake a Finance Business Partner role. Supporting business leaders in delivering profitable and sustainable growth for services, you will provide commercial and financial analysis decision support aligned to strategic and customer priorities. A varied brief includes:
•Lead financial & business analysis working on portfolios of business, challenge assumptions, influence decisions & make recommendations for efficiency improvements to sustain growth
•Acting as a trusted Finance Business Partner to business leaders, challenging & offering insight into profitability to drive future performance
•Understanding the customer landscape & related drivers to provide contract & service pricing, cash & margin optimisation recommendations, ensuring a balance of risk & return
•Recognising business value drivers & providing guidance on contract & service performance including ROI, scenario planning, KPI analysis & benchmarking
•Supporting portfolio strategy through market, competitor & portfolio analysis; informing market entry & exit decisions
•Developing customer relationships to support successful commercial & financial negotiations regarding variable revenue, rebids & change notices
•Support business leaders to deliver contractual obligations through identification of over & under delivery, performing root cause analysis & making recommendations
•Drive cost optimisation projects through profitability analysis & efficiency recommendations
•Proactively identify, assess & manage financial & commercial risks
•Accountability for financial records, compliance, business financial plans & forecasts produced by global back office teams
As a graduate ACA ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant, you will demonstrate previous Finance Business partnering and analysis experience gained within a contracts or projects environment, proven stakeholder management skills and evidence of delivering cost optimization and revenue improvement. The role demands a proactive, self-starter with commercial focus and the ability to influence key business decisions. The organization offers excellent long-term career progression across the group.
