Financial Controller

An impact investment bank requires a financial controller to join their growing organisation based in the City Of London. This is a sole role that will development in to eventually managing a team due to a significant growth forecast in the business. The successful candidate will be joining a professional and rewarding environment. Reporting directly in to the CFO and playing an important role with key stakeholders.

Role responsbilities -

• Management of accounting ledgers
• Production of management and statutory reports
• Assisting with annual audits and liaising with external auditors
• Negotiation and completion of insurance policies and other contracts
• Cashflow management and reporting
• Manage banking relationships
• Annual budgeting and forecasting
• Pension returns and payments
• Reports and presentations for Board/CEO/Senior Management
• VAT returns
• Payroll management via external bureau
• Other ad hoc duties as and when required

Candidate requirements -

• ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Experience working in a regulated environment
• Hands on approach
• Commitment and belief in impact investment
• Previous experience in the above duties
• Previous investment experience would be beneficial
• Enthusiasm for personal and team development in an entrepreneurial organisation
• Fantastic attention to detail
