Divisional Finance Manager

Due to continued growth, an opportunity now exists for an experienced qualified accountant to undertake a high-profile and varied Divisional Finance Manager role supporting a key business unit. With responsibility for driving the financial management of key operating units and providing financial analysis and support, your brief includes:

•Planning & Budgeting
-Working with key stakeholders to develop business plans, reforecasts & budgets
-Assisting in setting objectives for global business areas
-Challenging & updating assumptions to maximise financial performance
-Ensuring the sharing of good practice & a unified approach
•Financial Analysis & Advisory
-Delivering divisional financial information
-Promoting change through initiation, generation & presentation of financial analysis
-Analysis of performance against profitability, utilisation, gearing, WIP cycles; monitoring trends & highlighting issues
-Developing senior stakeholder understanding of financial issues to improve decision making
-Advising on financial control & working capital management
•Projects
-Providing financial advice, analysis & support to Business Managers driven by specific strategic & business development initiatives
-Supporting analysis, monitoring & financial impact of strategic change initiatives
•Team Management: management, training & development of small finance team

As a 2:1 or 1st class graduate qualified accountant with a track record in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering decision makers, ideally gained within a Big 4/Top 10 Professional Services, Legal or international business environment, you will be a confident, self-motivated individual with strong team management skills, a commercial focus and evidence of working at senior stakeholder level.
