Communicate are currently partnering with a listed client in their search for an Interim Group Financial Controller. Reporting into the Group CFO, this will be an initial 6 month assignment with the potential to extend further. The business is currently going through an interesting period of change and transition, and due to a lean head office function, there will also be the opportunity to be involved in more ad-hoc projects.
Responsibilities:
- Working with the group's regional finance teams on balance sheet management, cash management and the controls environment.
- Consolidating all monthly returns
- Preparation of half year and full year Plc reporting, Annual Report and glossies etc.
- Assisting with Investor presentations and RNS announcements.
- Being a key point of contact with the businesses' audit partners
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA Qualified
- Background spent within the PLC space - must have external PLC reporting experience
- Experience of being on the ground within a business from a more operational standpoint
- Excellent management and communication skills
