Accounts Assistant - Our Client is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join them in their growing team, as an integral part of the Accounts division. Our Client is a small but distinguished firm of chartered surveyors, and will be looking for the right candidate to start immediately.
The Role of the Accounts Assistant will look to include, but is not limited to, the duties below:
- Assisting on Service Charge Reconciliations.
- Conducting Check Arrears and Credit Balances.
- Issuing remittance advices.
- Conducting bank reconciliations for outgoing expenses.
- Allocating the correct receipts to the correct property and company accounts.
- Performing monthly bank recs and analysing all reconciled items.
- Undertaking monthly Petty Cash reconciliations and uploading records onto the relevant platforms, whilst investigating any discrepancies.
- Processing invoices and ensuring supplier invoices are to budget.
- Raising supplier invoices that require attention.
- Ensuring all relevant invoices are recharged to tenants with due diligence.
- Producing all relevant legal paperwork for tenants.
- Inputting new tenants onto the applicable Property Management System.
- Assisting with regular demand runs.
- Ensuring the payment of outstanding credit balances.
- Helping with general office duties.
The Person: The right candidate MUST be working towards their professional accounting qualification such as AAT/ACCA/ACA and will have a solid practical background in property accounts, with strong skills on property management systems such as Yardi/Qube/Tramps.
