to £95,000 + car + BUPA + bonus

This £100m business is a largely autonomous division of a significant UK Group. They are looking for a financial leader who has the passion and energy to provide enhanced strategic input and challenge to the Managing Director and senior team.

Following significant capital investment, the business is ideally placed for future growth. They are passionate and energetic people who enjoy working at pace in a demanding environment that requires quick reactions as well as long term strategic thought.

Critically, the role covers 4 production sites and has three main priorities; strategic input and challenge, oversight and management of the P&L, enhancement and development of the finance function.

Whilst driving the annual and 3-year strategy, the successful candidate will also be heavily involved in the budget plan and a range of commercially focused projects. These might include site performance reviews, post investment appraisal or Sku and customer profitability. Group functions support the division and allow the team to make quick and focused decisions with little bureaucracy.

You will be a confident, engaging, credible, analytical and experienced Head of Finance / FD with FMCG experience from within a major multiple. Alongside a good understanding of the blue-chip environment, previous exposure to smaller companies will be advantageous as will your passion for engaging with consumers and customers whenever possible.

Naturally curious and with a leaning towards creative problem solving you will be able to work tactically and nimbly in the short-term whilst also fitting in with a longer-term strategic framework.

Daily reporting will be to the Divisional MD with a dotted reporting line to the Group CFO (UK based) and you will lead a team across 4 production sites. The role will be based in Leeds with some travel within the UK.
