Fast growing SME on Trafford park is recruiting an experienced Management Accountant to cover maternity for approximately 9 months.
The role will be responsible for:
month end process (incl accruals, prepayments, WIP, fixed asset register, balance sheet recs etc),
preparing monthly management reporting pack and attendance at management meetings
preparing all statutory returns (VAT, PAYE etc)
Initially there will be some transactional processing duties (processing purchase ledger and sub-contractor invoices and payments, posting bank payments and receipts, processing expense claim forms) for the first month or so until the new permanent Administrator settles in
You will also be responsible for the co-ordination of IT across the business with the external IT support company.
This is a really varied role with lots to get stuck into over the course of the contract. The successful candidate will have a broad accounting background gained within an SME environment and be ether part or fully qualified ACCA/CIMA.
You should be immediately available to start work and be able to commit to the full 9 month contract.
