Management Accountant

Rapidly expanding and acquisitive retailer with strong capital investment are looking to appoint an ambitious and commercially astute finance professional. This is a newly created position and a key strategic appointment as the client anticipates growth to a £20m turnover by the end of this year.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will prepare the monthly management accounts for all departments and retail outlets in the group. Other key duties include budgeting and forecasting, cashflow forecasting, producing reports for the bank and supporting the FD with the provision of meaningful analysis and appropriate commentary. You will also work closely with the bookkeeper to ensure the numbers are accurate and the finance department is consistently efficient and robust.

The Finance Director is interested in meeting candidates with strong excel skills who are interested in being involved in future corporate finance deals and transactions.

The successful candidate will be highly organised and efficient, results focused with strong relationship management skills and good attention to detail. You will thrive in a rather unique yet fast-paced environment and be looking to play a key role in developing a finance function capable of withstanding exciting future growth.
