Commercial Controller

Ignata Finance are exclusively supporting a major international technology business as they look to appoint a Commercial Controller in to a newly created divisional role. Based in North Surrey, our client is a truly global business with operations in over 30 countries and a long-established EMEA Head Office function in the south-east. Following a sustained period of regional success, this position has been identified as a key opportunity to bring a high calibre finance professional on board to partner senior stakeholders across the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Providing decision support and partnering to the relevant segment EMEA leadership team
• Analysis and review of past performance as well as forecasting and budgeting of sales, margins, direct and indirect costs and CAPEX
• Participation and support in the delivery of monthly corporate performance reviews
• Drive improved operational efficiency in cooperation with the Shared Service Centre
• Partner with sales to improve customer understanding and market situation to support growth and minimise risks
• Lead the finance team and wider business to meet Group requirements and to ensure full compliance with local statutory and tax regulations
• Working with core accounting function to drive understanding & ownership of financial controls

We are looking for:

• Qualified accountant with at least 3 years post qualification experience and degree educated.
• Demonstrable experience of working in a business partnering capacity; influencing and guiding senior management
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP
• Ideally experience of working for an international business and willingness to undertake business travel
• Strong organisational skills and strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines
• Pro-active approach and ability to recognise and drive changes and improvements

Salary on offer - £65,000 to £75,000 depending on experience.
