Assistant Management Accountant

SF Recruitment are currently seeking an Assistant Management Accountant on behalf of a well established business in North Nottinghamshire 

Due to growth our client are looking for an ambitious, highly motivated and ambitious part qualified candidate to join their fast paced and dynamic team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager responsibilities of the role will include:
- Production and review of month end journals
- Preparation of accurate monthly management accounts pack
- Supporting with the analysis of business performance, reviewing of KPI's and providing relevant commentary to explain variances.
- Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Monthly supplier statement reconciliations
- Assisting with the preparation of information required for the year end statutory accounts.
- Any other adhoc duties as required to support the business

The ideal candidate will be AAT Qualified or hold a relevant degree, be studying towards their ACCA/CIMA qualification, be highly motivated and confident with their ability, have excellent communication skills, have working experience of an accounting software and have strong Excel skills including the use of Vlookups and Pivot Tables as a minimum requirement.
