Assistant Management Accountant

SF Recruitment are currently seeking a highly motivated Assistant Management Accountant to join a well established business based in Nottinghamshire on a permanent basis

Reporting to the Assistant Financial Controller responsibilities of the role will include:
- Assisting with month end tasks inc. prepayments, accruals, journal posting, monthly rent and rate schedule submitted to Financial Controllers and Directors
- Fixed assets including depreciation for fixed assets, processing Intercompany recharge invoices, bad debt provision and credit note provision
- Responsible for several depots P&L review
- Process the sales and purchase ledger close alongside the Supervisor
- Approving and uploading payments to the bank
- Assist with internal and external audits
- EC sales and Intrastat
- Posting invoices and charges to the relevant cost codes and depots
- Assist the Assistant Financial Controller, into reviewing the individual P&Ls

The ideal candidate will be actively studying towards their AAT/CIMA/ACCA, have experience of working within a similar role, strong excel skills, highly motivated and confident.
