FTSE Listed Software business seeks Head of Tax for a permanent role in London with Excellent Benefits.
Our Client, a highly profitable FTSE listed global Software business (Turnover c£70m, Profit c£20m) have identified the need to recruit for a new position - a Head of Tax.
The successful Head of Tax will have the autonomy and responsibility to determine the scope and reach of this role based on the requirements of the business. You will support the Chief Financial Officer on a broad range of tax and treasury matters related to the business, bringing energy and dynamism to the team
Responsibilities of your new role
Tax
- Corporate tax accounting under IFRS
- Reviewing and consolidating group year-end tax data and draft statutory notes
- Ensuring corporate compliance with transfer pricing guidance and legislation
- Management of outside tax and treasury service providers
- Tax planning across the Group
Treasury
- Develop and manage the multicurrency cashflow forecasting process.
- Oversight and control of the daily UK and global cash management processes to ensure that cash / debt balances across the group are being managed effectively
- Managing treasury controls and bank account structures
Candidate Profile
- 1-2 years' (minimum) corporate tax experience gained from working in a UK public accounting firm, or corporate tax department.
- A Chartered Accountant (or equivalent), or a qualified Tax professional will be of high value.
- Apart from taxation knowledge, you will at least have an understanding or willingness to learn of the mechanics of treasury.
- You will be Operations drivenand able to implement and drive process improvements.
- Possessing strong systems skills with the ability to build and manage financial models.
Salary and Benefits
The successful Head of Tax will be offered £80,000 - £90,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus excellent benefits.
