Contract Business Analyst | Madrid | Private Equity

Harmonic Finance are proud to be recruiting for a contract Business Analyst on an interim basis for one of Europe's leading Financial Technology providers. Backed by Private Equity, they are establishing a new business function in Madrid in Sept/November. This will take them from 0-60 colleagues within short timescales.

The role

The role requires a Business Analyst who is both bi-lingual (Spanish and English) and adaptable. You will be supporting the Programme Director (based between London and Madrid) to cover requirements gathering (as-is and to-be) and process mapping for a range of depts and functions covering:

  • Operations
  • Finance
  • IT/Web Systems (functional rather than technical level)

A background in Financial Services and/or technology services would be beneficial but is not essential.

Practicalities

The role will be paid in pounds sterling, with you base HQ being Central London (Zone 1). However, you must have an ability and willingness to travel to Madrid as required. Please note that you will not be expected to fly on Fridays due to high likelihood of cancellations eating into your weekends!

Day rate paid in pounds sterling.

Chance of contract extension?

High chance of extension to over 12-18 months work

Essential skills & experience:

  • High level of fluency in both Spanish and English
  • Good functional understanding of technology-related projects

Bonus skills:

  • Experience in a multi-national Private Equity-backed business will be looked upon favourably.
  • Any RDBMS/SQL/BI project experience would be looked upon favourably.
