Our client is a market leading high growth listed plc. They are poised for further growth and strategic plans include M&A activity, in addition to organic growth. To support growth, they have a newly created role for a commercially focussed FP&A Manager. Reporting to the Group CFO you will be develop first in class FP&A as well as support future acquisitions. You will manage the Tax and Treasury department.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the leadership team to produce the long term financial and strategic plans
- Delivery of the Commercial Finance Management board pack
- Production of monthly forecasts for the Group
- Full responsibility for the annual budget process
- Ownership of investor presentations working closely with the board and Senior Leadership
- Commercial finance support for bids and tenders
- Full analysis of results to gain a full understanding and overview of company performance with the aim to identify trends and mitigate risk
- Ownership of the Annual and Interim reporting process
- Working closely with the Head of Management Accounts and Operational Finance
- Manage the tax and treasury department
- Production of business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
- Providing insight to senior management around financial modelling, forecasts and profitability
Requirements:
- You will be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with a desire to join a high growth organisation
- You will be highly analytical and able to present to senior management teams
- Strong financial background with the commercial acumen to evaluate the financial impact of business decisions
- Ability to take initiative, coupled with ambition and strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships
- Have the credibility and gravitas to influence senior management
- Ability to multi-task and excellent attention to detail
- Robust analytical & modelling skills, including advanced Excel
