Our client is a subsidiary of a leading high tech group is seeking a Site Financial Controller to lead the finance function of one of their business units.
The role:
As Financial Controller you will report to the site general managers, leading the finance function and acting as a finance business partner. You will:
- Produce the monthly management accounts with commentary and be responsible for reporting performance to group.
- Take responsibility for reporting margin and forecasting
- Draft year end accounts in line with UK GAAP and US GAAP, ensure compliance with SOX
- Support the management team of the business to drive profit, contribute to strategy and work with operational colleagues to improve business performance.
To be successful:
You will need to have worked in a complex manufacturing environment, led a small team happy producing management accounts and keen to continue to learn and develop. Our client would be open to qualified or QBE accountants, experience of working for a US owned business would be a plus as would using large ERP systems such as SAP.
