Finance Lending Credit Analyst

Axon Moore are currently representing a highly inquisitive, growing financial services business who are looking for a Credit Analyst to step into an analytical role with a holistic view over business performance.

Reporting directly into senior leadership, the role is ideally suited to a highly technical individual with experience working in the finance lending industry.

Duties:

• Development of predictive analytics and modelling covering credit risk, fraud, collections, pricing and asset valuation
• Production of loan performance analysis, identifying trends, and evaluating opportunities to optimise financial returns
• Through analysis of loan portfolio identify areas that could lead to funding triggers being approached
• Proactively identifying business requirements
• Managing stakeholder expectations
• Maintaining documented and effective models
• Developing and maintaining credit performance dashboard
• Competitor analysis
• Supporting projects and initiatives to ensure business targets and growth plans are achieved
• Ad hoc tasks as appropriate

Person Specification:

• CIMA/ ACA/ ACCA Qualified
• Finance Lending experience essential
• Strong experience in an analytical/ FP&A role
• Advanced Excel essential
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Lending/ Finance Services experience is desirable
