Well established retail business based in Trafford Park requires a Financial Controller.
This is a newly created role reporting to the Finance Director and is an excellent role for someone looking for a role in a growing business where opportunities will come as the business grows.
You will be responsible for managing a team of 4 and working closely with the Finance Director with the day to day running of the business. You will be working with senior managers.
Duties will include:
- Setting targets for the finance team
- Cashflow forecasting, dealing with Stirling and other currencies
- Preparation of weekly P&L reports
- Covering all aspects of VAT
- Overseeing the payroll and pensions
- Handling all aspects of year end
- Handling all aspects of the stock systems and margin reports
- Responsible for the annual and monthly budgets
- Ensuring streamline reporting procedures at all times
The right candidate will have experience in the above, be a self starter and have a commercial focus.
