INTERIM FINANCIAL CONTROLLER REQUIRED FOR PE BACKED INSURANCE COMPANY BASED IN LONDON

Your new company is a start up insurance agency based in Central London. They are PE backed and have exciting growth plans through acquisition and organic growth. This is a unique opportunity to join industry leaders in a new venture.
Your new role
The newly appointed Finance Director requires an experienced finance professional to come in and help set up and implement processes and controls for the business. You will be preparing the first set of financial statements and leading the audit process. While this role will involve the setting up of transactional processes, equally you will have the gravitas and experience to advise the Finance Director on best practice and assist with commercial and strategic aspects of finance.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced finance manager or controller who has experience ideally working in insurance or a PE Backed business - both is ideal but one or the other will also be considered. You will have an all round financial experience - across controls, management accounts and FP&A, as well as transactional finance. You will be a self-starter, who is able to take initiative and enjoy working in a changing, high growth environment.

You will be on an initial 3 month contract with the opportunity to extend or go permanent on a daily rate of £350-£400/day.
